Moon Moon Sen, born Srimati Sen, is an Indian politician and actress predominantly working in the Bengali, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil film industries. She has also worked in an English film called My Karma () as Mrs Malik. She has appeared in more than 60 movies and 40 television shows.
Sen belongs to an affluent family. Her father belongs to one of the wealthiest families in Kolkata, and her mother was one of the most popular actresses of her time. She did her schooling in Loreto Convent, Shillong. Furthermore, she pursued her graduation from Somerville College, Oxford, and her master's degree in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
